Rep. Price’s Statement on Retirement of Chairman Pete Visclosky
WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 6, 2019) – Today, November 6, 2019, Congressman David Price (D-NC), Chairman of the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee released the following statement on the retirement of House Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman, Congressman Pete Visclosky:
“For 35 years, Congressman Visclosky has served his constituents in Indiana with great dedication and single-minded purpose,” said Congressman David Price.
“As Chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, Congressman Visclosky will be remembered as a fierce advocate for our men and women in uniform while ensuring our defense policy reflected the best of our shared values as a nation—including strong alliances with our international partners and respect for human rights.
