Appropriations Programmatic and Language Requests

As North Carolina's only representative on the Appropriations Committee and Chair of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee, I have a particular responsibility to advocate for federal programs and initiatives that create jobs, expand opportunity, and improve the quality of life for our state's families, businesses, and communities.

Over the years, I have helped secure funding for local projects such as the North Carolina National Guard headquarters in Raleigh, the Environmental Protection Agency research facility in RTP, and major improvements to our region's highways and rail system. In this era of limited federal resources, it is more important than ever for me to know which programs my constituents rely on and care about so that I can advocate for them forcefully in the annual appropriations process.

I also encourage you to visit my Help with Federal Grants page to learn more about funding opportunities at federal grant-making agencies.

Applications for the Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations Programmatic and Language Requests are now closed. Follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to keep up-to-date on the Appropriations process.
