Veterans Briefing 2017
Monday, November 6, 2017, 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
NC National Guard Headquarters, 1636 Gold Star Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607
This event is an opportunity for veterans, their families, and the organizations that serve them to learn about veterans’ legislation before Congress and to let me know their views on issues of concern.
This year’s keynote address will be offered by North Carolina Secretary of Military and Veterans Affairs Larry Hall, and Representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will also be available to provide information about benefits and services available to veterans.
There will be a light breakfast of biscuits with coffee and juice provided at no cost.
Directions: The North Carolina National Guard Joint Force Headquarters is located on Gold Star Drive, just off of Wade Avenue between the Edwards Mill Rd. and Blue Ridge Rd. exits. Gold Star Drive may be accessed either from Reedy Creek Rd. (near the end of the black picket fence, across from the N.C. Department of Agriculture building) or from District Drive. When you turn into the facility, proceed to the guard station and enter the left visitor traffic lane, then tell the guard you are attending Congressman Price’s Veterans’ Briefing. You will need to bring your government-issued photo ID (ex. driver's license) for entry to the installation.
